Pull-Ups!!!!
Dude, weighted p/ups are sick! If you want to get a big and super strong back, blast some pull-ups with some weight. I have found that it is best to mix it up. For instance, do 2 sets of 10 as warm ups, then grab a 45lbs plate and rep out as many as you can. You can cheat on maybe two of them just to get the blood flowing. Then keep dropping the weight by 10lbs every time for three more sets and your back will be super strong. Check it out Mike, I am going to get some chains for the dungeon. Two 25lbs chains to throw around the neck p/ups and on the bar for chest. It should be sick. I was using two 25lbs chains when I was in Iraq for p/ups. My back got wicked strong. Get some beast!!

Flakes!
Both dudes flaked on me! No worries, I will get them later. I did the run and the playground session and was wasted the next day. Totally sore and feeling great. I will do again soon. Been running a little this week. Did the four and a half on Sunday, three and a half Tuesday, one today, and will get at least five tomorrow. Did deadlifts, hanging cleans, dumbell pullovers, curls, and skulls today - just enough to feel really good. Got to mix in the power moves if you want the entire package (speed, agility, strength, endurance) otherwise you might as well be a body builder, and the last time I checked, I did not get a paycheck for being in the gym. Late!

Number 1!!
Here is the first blog for 30plusfit.com. Today, I am going to PT with some fellow pain junkies. it is the first step in "playground" training sessions. The first step in a 2-3 mile run (trails) and then using the equipment on the playground at the base of the run for push-ups, dips, and pull-ups. And then, we are traveling out to another location for powerlifting and more playground work. I'll let you know how it goes.
